Here's another example of why you don't need to shell out lots of money to get in good shape:
Lionsgate, the entertainment
company that brought you "The Hunger Games" movie, has launched a
YouTube channel dedicated to fitness. It's called Lionsgate BeFit, and
you can check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/BeFit.
BeFit, a one-stop shop for free fitness programming
featuring the likes of Jillian Michaels, Jane Fonda, Denise Austin and
Deepak Chopra, has accumulated almost 4 million views so far.
The channel offers dance workouts based on the TV
series "Dancing with the Stars" and the movie "Dirty Dancing," as well
as numerous additional workout styles including yoga, boot camp, Pilates, cardio and strength training.
The first original show to launch on Lionsgate BeFit
was "BeFit in 90," a hard-core 90-day workout system designed to deliver
results fast with a new playlist for each day. The program is hosted by
two certified fitness trainers: Samantha Clayton, an Olympic track star
from the United Kingdom who's married to professional baseball player
Royce Clayton and has four kids (including triplets); and Garret
Amerine, a war hero who rebounded from injury in Iraq to become a leader
in the campaign to get and stay fit.
